Heather's Legacy was established in 2011, in memory of Heather J. Kwiate, a fatal victim of domestic violence.

Heather's Legacy is a non-profit organization run by Heather's family with the goal of helping other families prevent and deal with such devastating acts of violence.

Through Heather's Legacy, the voice of a 23-year-old will not be silenced, but will be magnified, creating hope out of tragedy.
