Doug has performed in numerous bands in the southeast for over a decade, including Intruder, 36D, Blue Java, The Bluarcs, Code Blue, and Boomstick.

His musical influences include: The Beatles, James Taylor, Geoff Tate (Queensryche), Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin), Chris Cornell (Soundgarden), David Coverdale (Whitesnake), Ronnie James Dio, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, and many others.
